The jump animation is looping for some reason, also it kinda looks like both jumps are out of sync. Not sure if them being out of sync is normal or not...
No error screen this time unfortunately...
I did manage to get like, 10 stalemates in a row though when this happened... I doubt that has anything to do with the bug though...
Might be a good idea to look through the code that handles this animation and see if there's any potential way it might loop forever...
That behavior should be fixed up on the next update.
Some actions were based on animation timings, and boy did I learn about floating point values. It's all done with regular counters instead so this kinda stuff should be much cleaner.
Hey! This was a lot of fun! It barely took me a moment to figure out how to play!
I will say one thing though, it wasn't immediately obvious that SPACE was the enter button.
I would change it to ENTER, but you could also set up multiple buttons to work too. I'd recommend; Z, ENTER, SPACE, Right arrow.
I'd also set up some more buttons for exiting menu's too. ESC is fine, but I'd have the options be; X, BACKSPACE, ESC, Left arrow.
The reason why I've included the arrows is because the arrows are used to pick an option in the menus. Although they probably wouldn't work very well in the character select unless you make it vertical instead of horizontal, but it'd probably be better to just ignore using the arrow keys for the moment.

I was spamming 1 and Space at the same time. Must've confused the game...
Not exactly sure what's going on here, but hopefully this error log means more to you than it does to me.
Also, the music kept playing until I clicked abort.
Just in case that's important.
That is helpful :) It broke the image drop-down slider.

Thanks! Adding some over-lap keys almost made it into the first demo, for this first run it was making sure the rooms behave as intended.
